Mini Update

I am out of clothes.  I have been wearing a German soccer jersey for 3 straight days.  Let me explain, the washer at the hostel is tip top, so no problems there.  I put my stuff on the clothes line to dry and it rained off and on for 3 days in a row.  I am on attempt #3 to rewash my clothes, and I think I have to bite the bullet and take them to a laundry mat in order to finally dry them.  That or just keep on wearing the Schweinstagger  #9 jersey with the coffee stains on it.  Win/win I guess.

Jessica Plowman arrives today shortly followed up by Mom and Sister.  I am very excited for visitors and will be touring the city all over again with each of them.  I think Mom and Karly will have to wait till the end of their trip as Jess is only here for about 2 weeks and we have a lot to pack in.  Thinking a trip back up the coast to warmer weather.  I have already lost my bitchin tan I developed while in the van.  Sucks.

I meant to head out to Costco this week so I could take this show mobile with a new laptop, but it was about 4 subway exits and a 15 minute walk away, so that did not happen.  Instead I went to the casino to watch the past three games of the NBA finals.  Ray's shot cost me $20, which is about all I felt comfortable gambling seeing as I have not seen income in 3 months.

Headed to more rugby tomorrow and after that who knows.  The shows at the Opera House all stink right now, so I don't think we will be doing that.  Probably hit up the FREE Sydney city tour and a couple of the FREE museums.

Below is a picture of the pool the Thorpedo built.  Remember him before Michael Phelps??  And below that is the sign that has saved me from being run over as the traffic comes from the other direction and it is not habit to look that way when I am jaywalking.  Its really weird at first.  Just think about it.
